Health & Safety guidance notes
The GTC in association with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) has updated the booklet ‘Health & Safety in Golf Course Management’ and employers and employees can now access all the latest guidance available.
Due to demand the GTC now produces a glossy hard copy of the HSE Guidance Notes at £20 inc p&p.
The GTC’s Past Chairman John Caton (pictured left) and Jon Allbutt (co-author) showcase the new glossy hard copy of the Guidance Notes which was launched at the GTC’s stand at the BTME (22 -24 January 2008).

The GTC Health & Safety wall chart is now very much a feature in all Greenkeeping Maintenance Facilities showing instant references to staff competencies in relation to machinery/equipment.
BIGGA Machinery and Work Equipment Training Manual
Supporting records must be kept to complement the wall chart information and BIGGA’s Equipment and Machinery Manual is available to assist good record keeping.
