Double Winner
Toro Student Greenkeeper of the Year and now City and Guilds Medal of Excellence Winner
Winner of the Toro Student Greenkeeper of the Year Award 2015 Oaklands College student Kevin O'Neill from Muswell Golf Club, has also won a City and Guilds Medal of Excellence. This was awarded for his outstanding performance on his Level 3 Work based Diploma course.
Oaklands College has now won the Toro Student Greenkeeper of the Year five times and has had 3 City and Guilds medals awarded to its Greenkeeping students. Kevin is currently on an all-expenses paid trip to the USA courtesy of the sponsors Toro. On hearing the news of his double win he said was delighted and shocked to hear the news of his 2nd win. Kevin will receive his medal in a presentation ceremony in London in April.
